What IS CC5?

Our organization will help local, hard-working families and retirees when times get tough. The intent is to provide a "hand up", not a hand out. Every family encounters struggles where they fall short of being able to make ends meet. This is not a permanent status, just a tough time that will pass, but until then, CC5 is here to help. 

This organization is intended to address the needs of the families that cannot receive help anywhere else; the hard-working families that make too much money to receive public assistance and often have nowhere else to go when they come up short.

WHy $5

CC5 intends to show that it is possible for everyone to help others. You do not have to have a lot of financial means to care. $5 may seem small all by itself, but if 10 people each give $5, that becomes $50 and that is enough to provide a meal for a family to celebrate a holiday that they may not have been able to provide for themselves. This shows the power of a community coming together. When everybody cares a little, it can make a big difference.
